Dr. Ty Eriks, DMD
Owner/Dentist
Dr. Ty Eriks always strives for excellence and brings this attitude to our practice of dentistry. In May 2011, Ty completed his dental education at Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine and graduated after four years of training under some of the brightest practitioners in the field. For his achievements in both academia and the dental clinic, Ty was honored with an American Dental Association Dental Student Scholarship and was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, a dental honor society.
Ty is a Pacific Northwest native and graduated with honors from Seattle’s O’Dea high school in 2001. He then received a B.S. with honors in Neurobiology from the University of Washington in 2006. He is also a former varsity student-athlete, playing football for both O’Dea High School and the University of Washington. Ty is excited to incorporate some of the skills learned on the football field into the dental practice, including extraordinary focus and a keen attention to detail.
Ty is married to Sharee, an attorney practicing in Ft. Lauderdale. Proud father of Kellen & Jackson and their dog Guinness. In his free time, Ty enjoys fishing and spending time with his family.
Dr. Darren Pike
Periodontist
Dr. Pike began his distinguished career graduating from the University of Florida with his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in food science and Human Nutrition. From there, he continued on to earn his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at Nova Southeastern University. Notably, he graduated at the top of his class and received an award and scholarship for his incredible achievements in implant dentistry.
He then completed another three years at Nova Southeastern University to specialize in Periodontology, training under some of the leading specialists in the United States. As a board-certified Periodontist, he has Diplomate status with the American Board of Periodontology (ABP). He is also a member of the American Academy of Periodontology (AAP), the Academy of Osseointegration (AO) and the Florida Association of Periodontists (FAP).
While not busy at the office, Dr. Pike enjoys spending time with his wife Talia and wonderful daughters Addison and Kaelyn.
Dr. Pike’s incredible dedication to the field, continual research in periodontal laser therapy and bone regeneration, and immense achievements make him the perfect addition to the Eriks Dental Group team.
Dr. Carlos Yanes
Dentist
Dr. Carlos Yanes is a dentist with a passion for transforming smiles and improving oral health. With over 4 years of experience in dentistry, he’s become a trusted name in the dental community. Dr. Yanes completed his dental education at the prestigious NSU College of Dental Medicine, where he developed a deep understanding of the intricacies of dentistry.
Throughout his career, Dr. Yanes has focused on providing comprehensive dental services to patients. He believes in a patient-centered approach, taking the time to listen to his patients’ concerns and tailor treatment plans to their unique needs. Driven by his commitment to excellence, he continuously updates his knowledge and skills through ongoing education and training such as Frank Spears Faculty Club membership.
Dr. Yanes’ expertise spans a wide array of dental procedures, including preventive care, restorative dentistry, cosmetic treatments, and Temporomandibular disorders diagnosis and treatments. He takes pride in staying at the forefront of dental advancements, utilizing state-of-the-art technology and techniques to deliver the highest quality of care.
Beyond his technical skills, Dr. Yanes is known for his warm and compassionate demeanor, ensuring his patients feel comfortable and at ease during their visits. It’s always pleasant to hear his stories of how he immigrated and built a career in this country. He believes in building strong relationships with his patients and fostering an environment of trust and open communication.
Outside of his dental practice, Dr. Yanes actively participates in community outreach programs such as volunteering at the Lady of Queen Church Dental Clinic and Mission of Mercy, promoting dental education, and providing dental care to underserved populations. He believes in giving back to the community and strives to make a positive impact on the oral health of those in need.
With his extensive experience, unwavering dedication, and genuine passion for dentistry, Dr. Carlos Yanes continues to positively impact the lives of his patients, helping them achieve healthy, beautiful smiles that last a lifetime.
Dr. Carlos Yanes of Boca Raton, FL earned Fellowship status in The International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI) on April 24, 2024.
The awarding of Fellowship status is an honor which a professional society such as the ICOI bestows on a dental professional involved in dental implant treatment. The ICOI has a fellowship program in which active members are encouraged to achieve Fellowship status through their efforts in education, research and actual clinical experience.
Dr. Baokhoi Bui
Endodontist
Dr. Bui began his illustrious career by graduating from the School of Pharmacy of State University of New York (SUNY) at the top of his class. After a stint of practicing pharmacy, he returned to SUNY where he graduated Summa Cum Laude with his Doctor of Dental Surgery.
Upon graduating, Dr. Bui entered the prestigious University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, widely known as the birthplace of endodontics. Here he received his Certificate of Endodontics, specializing in microscopic surgical and nonsurgical endodontics procedures under some of the top dental specialists in the world. When not busy at the office, Dr. Bui enjoys spending time with his family.
Dr. Bui’s incredible attention to detail, education, experience, and advanced technologies make him the perfect addition to the Eriks Dental Group team.
